Prof. LU Chunxin is an Associate Professor at the School of Legal Studies, GuangDong University of Foreign Studies, supervisor of Master’s students, and a full-time researcher at the South China Institute for International Intellectual Property. She holds a Doctor of Juris Science (Intellectual Property Law) from Zhongnan University of Economic and Law, Master of Law (Civil-commercial Law) from Sun Yat-Sen University, Bachelor of Law (First Degree) and Bachelor of Administration (Second Degree) from Zhongnan University of Economic. From October, 2014 to November, 2015, she was a visiting scholar at Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property in Germany.
Her main research area is Intellectual Property Law, and has many publications in academic journals including “Intellectual Property”, “Academic Research”, “Private Law Review”, “Electronics Intellectual Property” and “China Invention & Patent”, etc.. Her publications have been awarded Second Prize in the Outstanding Paper of China Intellectual Property Seminar of Chinese Law Society, Second Prize in the Outstanding Paper of National Copyright Administration of the People’s Republic of China, etc. Ms. Lu is also the author of one and co-author of two published monographs. She hosts 10 research projects including the National Rule of Law and Law Theory Project of the Ministry of Justice, Ministerial Law Research Project of China Law Society, Special Fund Project for intellectual property work of the Intellectual Property Office of Guangdong Province and “Yangcheng Young Scholar” research project of Guangzhou Society Scientific Community Federation, etc., and participated as a main member in several National Social Science Fund Research Projects.
