Ltd<\/p><p>Dr. Daniel So received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has 25+ years of R&amp;D and management experience in Silicon Valley. He is currently the co-founder and CEO of Genvida, a nanobiotech startup in the Hong Kong Science Park. Previously, he worked for Intel, HP \/ Agilent and Motorola, and consulted for Life Technologies \/ ThermoFisher. He was the co-founder and CTO of Scenterra.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><p>His expertise centers on micro-\/nanoscale technology. Notable scientific accomplishments include: (1) world\u2019s first implementation of chromeless phase-shift mask technique for the fabrication of T-gate in millimeter-wave integrated circuits, (2) realtime programmable LiPMAS (nano<em><u>Li<\/u><\/em>ght-<em><u>P<\/u><\/em>ipe <em><u>M<\/u><\/em>icro<em><u>A<\/u><\/em>rray <em><u>S<\/u><\/em>ynthesis) system for maskless fabrication of microarrays, and (3) portable SONAS (<em><u>SO<\/u><\/em>lid-state <em><u>NA<\/u><\/em>nopore <em><u>S<\/u><\/em>equencing) technology for low cost, realtime sequencing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&lt;&lt;Back to Speaker Dr. Daniel SO \u2013 CEO &amp; Co-Founder, Genvida (HK) Co.
