Dr. Robert ALDERSON<\/strong> \u2013 Partner, United States and European Patent Attorney, International Client Relations, Berggren Oy<\/p>\n

Dr. Robert Alderson is one of a very small number of intellectual property attorneys working at a European IP firm who has a law degree from the United States and is qualified to practice before both the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office. Prior to moving to Europe 10 years ago, he worked in New York as an intellectual property attorney for 14 years, including over 10 years in the IP group of an AmLaw 100 law firm.<\/p>\n

His responsibility at Berggren primarily involves international client relations. In such capacity Dr. Alderson is the firm\u00b4s primary contact with clients in the United States and one of the primary contacts for clients in Asia and other parts of the world.  Dr. Alderson often writes and speaks on a variety of intellectual property-related topics, particularly concerning comparative IP law issues. He is also the co-host of Berggren Live Radio, a regular live podcast which covers a variety of international intellectual property issues.
