Tomson Lee is a Canadian citizen living in Hong Kong. He spent 15 years in defense industries,10 years with IBM research, and retired from City University of Hong Kong after 14 years serving as a senior technology transfer officer.
Currently:
• A consultant/advisor for all patent/intellectual property licensing, sale, and entrepreneurship.
• Mr. Lee held directorship in three companies for technical consultancy, software, and investment.
• Mr. Lee serves on the advisory board for China’s national technology incubator with over 15,000 early-stage startup companies. The Incubator program invests over $1 billion annually to facilitate new technology growth in China.
• Mr. Lee is also a direct business and technology advisor to 22 of China’s largest cities and provinces and works directly with local governments to develop new industries and business opportunities in their Provinces.
• Mr. Lee also works directly with the Central Government and National Banks to provide matching capital working funds for a broad range of technology and manufacturing companies.
For example, Mr. Lee worked with the various States in the US, Canadian Cities, and EU countries, the Chinese government and Chinese companies to develop a comprehensive play for the expansion and development of major business collaborations, free-trade-zone, and investment. This is a major ongoing initiative to grow the hi-tech economy in between Americas, EU, and in China.
