
Shangzhou Ji, Executive Dean of the Yangtze River Delta Financial Research Institute of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Director of the OTC Market Research Center, Director of the Master Program of Asset Appraisal, Associate Professor of the School of Financial Management, Master’s Supervisor, and Senior Advisor of the US China Yangtze River Delta Chamber of Commerce. He was born in Jinhu, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University in 2003 with a PhD degree in Technical Economics. Later, he entered the post doctoral program of Applied economics in Fudan University and left in December 2006. He visited Washington University twice in 2012-2013 and 2022-2023, and visited University of Alberta in Canada in 2015. From 2002 to 2006, he served as a senior manager of Sanjiu Group, implemented and completed the restructuring of assets and liabilities of Sanjiu Group, participated in the startup of Property insurance companies, and did research in PE and securities company. In 2006, he entered the School of Finance of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. He is mainly engaged in teaching and doing research in the field of enterprise valuation and securities investment. He also provided industrial planning consulting for many provinces and cities, and serving as lecturers for many central enterprises. Dozens of projects such as the National Social Science Foundation Project, Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Planning Fund Projects, and Shanghai Municipal Decision Consultation Projects were sponsored by him. He has several papers published in domestic and foreign journals such as People’s Daily, Management World, Frontiers of Economics in China, and published 3 works since 2010.
