Contract enforcement during the global financial crisis
Abstract:
The 2008 global financial crisis exposed the huge leverage in the financial system. This current crisis, originating from the COVID-19 global pandemic, has the potential to become an even greater financial crisis than 2008. Kingsley Ong will briefly share his experience in dealing with some of the most complicated financial contracts (e.g. derivatives, securitisations, etc.) during the 2008 global financial crisis.
