Dr. Shuang Chen obtained Ph.D. degree in Comparative Endocrinology from the University of Hong Kong. She has years of experience in biological research. Her past work looked at autocrine and paracrine regulation of pituitary hormone by leptin and adiponectin in various cell lines and animal models. She worked as Research Associate in Hong Kong New Beta Innovation Co., LTD., responsible for validation and standardization of protocols in quality control. She worked as product manager of Big Health Department in BGI Shenzhen headquarter, responsible for designing and updating reports of gene sequencing products. At present, she works as a manager of innovation department at Haomai science & technology Company, investigating potential drugs and potential drug targets by mining and analyzing multiple types of data such as patents, clinical research results and scientific literature, and is committed to establishing a model for evaluating new drug targets.
